Oh yes i have also receive an e-mail from Dr. William Gerru(PHD) and Dr.Mark Wakefield telling me i’ve won the msn lottery 2007 amount 400.000 Pounds. Is this natural, for a scam ,there are good they even tell you that your money is deposited in a Barclays bank account they want your personal information for transfer purpoese.Fortunatly for me one of my relative works in Barclays bank and when we check the address of the branch given to us,we found out it was fake trough the all way.

Hi, I also received the info, and questioned it. I also got the same exact numbers, only it came from a Packer Estrada, and a Gloria Bent? I alos gave my info, we do have a yahoo account. I dont know. I certainly am glad it did not ask for you know very personal info, only real stuff people you know know about you, what do you think will happen?

They will most likely send more spam to your email or give you a call (if you gave your number) and try to convince you that you actually won something.

definetly a scam,i recieved the same email.the batch,ref,and winning #’s all the same exept the name, which was MR.FIRST WRIGHT for the contact name. my concern is are these scam making way for new ones ex:scam detection sites and/or software that those who are tired of the scams that plague there e-mail boxes are eager to purchase and in turn offer no guaranty and/or nothing at all, but take your money.

it is the responsibility of the msn staff to give the feedback of sending such mails ,bec. delivery status on such mails are not coming then settlement of such claims of prize should be given & confirm by msn staff.

not sure where youre heading with the comments mr. dhiraj but as you can see this is a scam alerts site, posting the latest scam emails, alerting people to stay away from scam emails, fake winnings, false job offers and much more.

It is very dishearting for yahoo/msn to let the false avertisment of such scam to come across their sites. This leads to indentity theft. Like spamguard it should bull**** guard
People used the internet for better things. An investigation should be perform.
Mrs Teresa Billington and Dr.Christopher McDonald should be notified that they are being involved with Scam/fake prize winning.
FBI,and other agency’s should be notified.

Boy di feel like a zero, I’ve gotten two lottery winnings notifications. One fronm the one talked about by MSN/yahoo and the UK National Lottery in which they say I won 2,000,000. Not likely. Visions of sugar plums not dancing in my head.

I received this email June 12th. Thanks for the input. It must be a SCAM!! I had the same winning numbers as some others posting this scam alert. If they are asking for money before they send the prize, that is extremely suspicious.

I received this scam as well and gave my details but no bank details. I have tried calling Paul Zuma and Flora of First National Bank of South Africa, and nobody picks the phone. The one i received for 800,000 pounds is a yahoo lottery. but the names are Gerri williams and Paul Zuma ( barrister from London) What crap is this?

I also received a notificstion from Yahoo Lottery International Inc., stating that i am one of the lucky winner and ask me to communicate with Dr. Humphrey Williams with the email address prestige.intl@hotmail.com.I waited for 1 day for him to reply. When i noticed he did not reply i was already confirmed that its a scam . Why people were able to use your logo? Can u do anything about this ? If this things will continue to happen , many people will be affected. I hope yahoo staff and management will take actions on this concerns …

I received this yahoo/msn notification that I had won £500,000.00. Cos the details they required seemed harmless i.e Name, address, tel no etc but NOT BANK DETAILs or D.O.B I supplied them, I received another email today asking me to mail the delivery address to a courier company, I mailed back my home address and then rang the couriers to check, they informed me its a scam and the fraud squad are involved!! I had to contact a Wonnes Williams on email: wonnes_eventsmanager@yahoo.co.uk telephone numbers were also supplied +447035900494.
the second email I got I had to reply to the couriers via email at info-dispatch@skynetexpressworldwide.com

I advise you change all your passwords and create a new email address. You may also need to change your phone number.
If you receive an offer via email from someone claiming to need your help getting money out of Nigeria — or any other country, for that matter — forward it to the FTC at spam@uce.gov.

I received the same email so how do they get stopped, they take your dream’s from you and turn you in to someone that you are not. We all cannot be that greedy but you end up thinking that you are. This is the third one that has been sent to me,the first one said that I had won 915,810.00pound’s then when I sent back the relevant information that’s when they started asking for money to pay the courier’ I said no to that, then they were going to do a money transaction and that would have cost nearly two and a half thousand dollar’s I refused added a note to the letter about not being nice people so this lot will get the same type of letter as well.

Thanks for your site, it made me realize this Yahoo MSN Lottery thing was a total scam, I thought it was suspicious cause of the misspellings, the pounds sterling, plus I didn’t enter this lottery either. They have changed the amount and eventmanagers name for my email, it was 900,000 sterling and darrenwilliams@hotmail.

I received the same thing just yesterday actually. Seems like a sad attempt for someone to gain your personal info for identity theft. All the info they ask for is the same info you have to give creditors. Cause think about it, with all the scamming and phishing going on, if Yahoo was teamed up with MSN or anyone else to do a monthly lotto don’t you think they would have it posted somewhere so that people would know it was for real. And the part in the email where it says basically tell no one about your winnings. lol. Yeah right, someone wins 1,000,000 they aren’t going to keep that to themselves. Anyway, believe it or not, I choose not.

I recieved a similar notification yesterday, Dec. 4th. I decided to check it out before responding to them. I came to this web site and glad I did. The agent named in my e-mail was Arik Solomon. The e-mail stated I had won 820,000 Great Britain pounds, and asked for general information such as name, address, marital status, date of birth, etc. I knew something was wrong, it was too good to be true.

I also Received the very same e-mail,with the same batch and winning nunbers..but my contact is Wayne Anderson.He asured me this is for real and to send the info requested.Like a fool i sent the info,then was contacted again by wayne to contact kds couriers for delivery of parsel.. that was when i did some checking on this,and now i know this is a scam!i hope that these people get caught..i am going to report this ASAP..
