They’re still at it..those scammers just texted my friend a while ago, the exact txt message read “CONGRATS” via ELECTRONIC RAFFLE MACHINE U WON(300,000) FR.PCF(PHIL.CHARITY FOUNDATION)pLS.TXT UR COMPLETE NAME&ADD.NOW. CONTACT ATTY.VIVIAN M. CHUA @ this # TY.” Good thing she asked me about it. she said she already called the ‘Vivian’ then the vivian suddenly got offended when she said that it’s hard to believe that she won..my friend can’t post a message ryt now so I did. this really should be looked upon because so many people are being victimized.

yes its true…. scammers are still on their way victimizing innocent people…..Wathc out for the celfone no.0905-3308-768. they keep on changing their numbers once they jnew na buking na ang style nila…this same text… that will read as…D’Auditors of PGMA CHARITY FOUNDATION nform you that your CELFON # WON P950,000 2nd prize winner, drawn last 06-13-2007 Pls call now ATTY. MARETES A. GONZALES….was sent to my mother…its good she asked me to call… thank to your message which made me confirmed that this is really a scam….I think this information should be disseminated to our friends, relatives , office mates etc. to make them aware that this scam is still on-going. More so, i think its more appropriate to inform the said foundation ( if its really existing) for them to be aware that they are pose for reputation risk.

my wife got the same message from a certain mrs. janice madrigal w/ fone no. +639152162931. these kind of people should be apprehended and locked in jail. this scam is a challenge to PGMA government especially to NTC.

Last August 30, 2007 I received a txt message from CP#639165552375 stared like this: Notice From: D’AUDITORS of PGMA CHARITY FOUNDATION INFORM YOU THAT YOUR CELFON # WON P950,000 2nd Prize winner, drawn last 29-AUG-2007. Pls. call now ATTY.VENUS AYALA….. I replied first asking how can I claim the prize and If this is not a scam, I waited for several minutes for a reply then called up and spoke to a female voiced person, then that person told me to send her my Name,address and age via txt message. I told her what proof could she give me that it is not a scam, she just kept on repeating the instructions and that they are from the charity foundation.I said OK but I never sent her the details she was asking.

i rcvd the same txt twice too from atty. jhon and john lopez.. confirming that i won 950,000 from 2 different draws, 9/14 and 10/1.. i called him during the 2nd text to question him about how i won without even joining.. he told me he got my number from ntc.. he txtd me a list of requirements, i almost believed its true since there wasnt any amt of money or prepaid cards involved.. he told me to call back.. i never did call again.. too bad, they still do this kind of scam.. people should be aware of this.. take note of this number.. 09165436303 and 09064375559..

I received similar message just today from a certain Atty. Johannes (Tel No. : 09289441496. Message” Congratulations! We would like to inform you our dear kabayan OFW/OCW that your roaming# won $40,000 from PGMA PhilCharity Fund! To claim prize, call Atty Johannes Sy for details.”
I called the contact person and he asked me info : passport no., addresses, work places, etc. I told him that I would like to verify first but he sounded defensive. Good thing, I browsed the net first before doing any move.
We need to be careful.

Alam ko na agad na isa lang ‘tong scam. Hope the foundation of PGMA will hunt this people or better the telecommunications company can find a way how to search this crazy people. And to the citizens be aware of this text messages anytime they will come to you…so beware of them…scammers…get lost!!!

Karereceive ko lang. Anyway susubay bayan ko pa. Bibigay ko lahat gusto nya basta personnal kami magkita. Sigurado may kalalagyan sila pag di binigay premyo ko na sinabi nila.
Ako pa. E kung ulol sila ngayon e ako pinanganak na ulol at di magugulangan.

I tot sagot na to sa financial problems ko but when I searched the said Foundation from this website eh text scam lang pala ang na received ko. I received this today on my Smart #! And also got it previously on two Globe #s!! Coincidence? Beware of these scammers!! Only way to stop them is let others know and not send them anything (sims, infos, etc.). And take care always!

Received text message this morning that my roaming # won $40,000…. the name of the person who sent the message is a certain Atty. Johannes Sy… spoke to him and even gave him some info about myselt…. and asking me to go to the nearest Western Union to remit US$710 or if not even 70% of the said amount… said to process my prize which will be deposited in 8 transaction of $5,000 each transaction. I didn’t know about this scam until i search the PhilCharity Fund in the internet and found out that this kind of scam has been happening since. Our Gov’t must do something about this… anyway, sa mga kinauukulan eto ang number ng nag send ng message 09093517413… beside saan kaya kumukuha ng numero tong mga halang ang kaluluwa na to. Lalagay pa nila na Atty sila eh they don’t even sounds like a lawyer….sa mga manlolokong to, pakamatay kayo, ang kapal ng mga mukha niyo, yung mga OFW na nagtratrabaho ng maayos kikikilan niyo pa eh napakahirap na ngang magtrabaho sa ibang bansa na malayo sa pamilya.

These freaks should be burned to death. My mother just received the same text message few minutes ago, so I browse the internet and searched for Atty. Eduardo C. Javier. The search led me here.
The sender’s number is 09106982902. This “Atty.” said my mom won Php800K. I have been aware of this kind of scam. My mom’s bro has been a victim of this kind of “business. He asked to send send 5 pcs. Smart Buddy 300 load.
This is a very obvious scam ‘coz how would you win if you never joined a raffle?

The public is again being warned about text scams which continue to victimize people, including overseas Filipino workers.
MODUS OPERANDI
Text scammers use fictitious names or pose as government officials, send fraudulent text messages to their victims saying that their mobile phone numbers won in a raffle allegedly sponsored by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas or other institutions.
The scammers tell their victims that to be able to claim their alleged prize, they should first send money to the scammers thru a designated account in a bank or remittance company.
The scammers also require their victims to send prepaid load to the scammers’ prepaid mobile phone numbers.
Once the scammers receive the money and prepaid load, the victims would no longer be able to get in touch with them again.
We repeat — the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas does not conduct raffles.

Such message is not credible because it is so informal to sent just a text message informing somebody that he/she won big amount of cash/cash equivalent.

Thanks for this website. This is certainly a sort of scam. Scammers are using different names and cellular phone numbers or using different emails or misrepresenting the names of any institutions. The only solution is to ignore those text messages without credibility and validity. It is difficult to stop scammers but we can only stop them if we will not entertain their insane text messages. BEWARE OF SCAMMERS!

and frankly, no one would be sending a text message to announce that you have won something, pathetic modus operandi… i even called the number and said, “get a real job” haha and mind you, they have this really long speech that goes something like “PGMA blah blah blah” and i said, “wow, you must’ve really practiced that speech before you got it right huh?”
i just hate this kind of people, tsk, such a shame to actually say that they are filipinos like us.. tsk..

Just receive THE SAME FREAKING SCAM THING few seconds now. Seems like I won Php 780,000.00. Contact person this time is:NEIL REYES (very common name indeed) and even incorporated that PGMA CHARITY FOUNDATION is with partnership of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.
I meant to report this both TO BSP & DTI so they can make immediate actions to put behind this ppl down, or maybe IMBESTIGADOR TEAM can help those ppl who have been victimized (i’m sure they are some if they are still being motivated to operate until now).

LOPEZ of Banko Sentral ng Pilipinas. his number is +639268050479. he wanted me to send him a 300k worth of TM prepaid callcard & 300k smart buddy prepaid callcard! he told me that he’ll be sending the money/cheque via bank to bank transfer &/or via western union &/or via LBC padala. good thing i saw this site!!! . . . halleur! i was able to talk to the person . . . BISAYA ang w*langhiya . . . silly!!! akala naman niya mauutakan niya ako! hahahahaha! =)
